328xi Coupe Pricing ?

Was just looking at two '07 328xi Coupes at dealerships, but was told that the 15k-16k mark is too much to pay for one with around 76k miles on it. I've been looking at cars since the beginning of June, and have come to believe that such a deal is actually pretty good, and I'm confused because other guys in NY are giving me examples of much better deals they've had in the past. What would you guys say the price should be for a car like this? I've looked almost anywhere I can think of, Cars,AutoTrader,Edmunds, every BMW dealership within 100 miles, and Craigslist. Please help me out , thanks guys.

I know a couple of car salesman and my honest opinion is if you're looking for a car, the best time to buy is during Winter as they are more willing to negotiate price. Don't get me wrong you can still negotiate a fair deal during the summer but it'll be more difficult as they do get more customers during the summer so they have no need to sell it for you cheap.

However, if you do need the car by this summer, you can find fairly cheap 07 328i's, especially since you're from NY. I personally shop for the lowest KM's (Miles) cars just because it feels more durable and reliable for me, I paid around $18000 for my 09 with 33,000km (20,505miles). But to answer your question, you're looking at around 10-15K for a 07 with 50,000+ miles.

Paid $15,500 for an '08 328xi (4 door) w/70k miles and that price includes a 2 year unlimited mile warranty that covers essentially everything besides fuel injectors. I'm in Syracuse, NY.

No I purchased from these guys: www.firstclasshighline.com

They're a pretty reputable dealer here in Syracuse, they've been around for a while.

Asking $20k for a e92 328 with damn near 90k miles and a busted valve cover gasket takes some real balls. Not for nothing bro but even at $17k you got the shaft with no lube. I'm also guessing car still had original spark plugs, fluids, and original transmission pan/filter.

Yep haha. Actually we made it down to 16k and we got it last year. It was worth 20k supposedly then.

Sedans are on the low but don't expect to get too much better of a price on a coupe, especially if optioned. These cars are good dailys and are holding value ok. Maybe next year they will dip a little lower

I got an 07 328i e92 6mt for 15k with 70k miles from Oyster Bay BMW of NY. Has cold weather and sport package. They're a pretty crappy dealer though. I take it Competition BMW in Smithtown, NY for repairs.

I just picked up a 2007 328xi wagon; sport package, navigation, 6 speed from florida (had it shipped to VT) for $13K. This thing was super clean with 78k miles.

came to find out this is the unicorn of wagons; i guess they old imported less than 30 with the 6 speed in 2007.

having been the first time i bought a car via the internet. i would keep searching and for the amount it cost + shipping i made out like a bandit!

Wagons are not popular in the US but are like a dime a dozen in Europe.
