Smoked 4.1L Mustang GT
today I was right behind a black newer model Mustang GT in black with loud exhaust system. I kept up to the guy and he pulled to the right at the stop light to purposly want to start a race. The dude with sunglass started talking to me and said Show me what you got. I just smiled and when the light turn green, right away my car pulled ahead and by the 3rd gear, he is 1 car length behind me.
This is pretty sad that my stock 335i can trashed a GT with big block and loud exhaust. I sure want to see the guy again and tell him, I just got a 4 door sedan that can smoke you, thats all I got. lol http://www.e90post.com/forums/images.../party0030.gif |

Mustang GTs don't have 'big blocks' and the Coyote (5.0) equipped late model GTs will abuse an un-tuned 335i. No current or recent Mustangs have a 4.1L motor. Current GTs have the 5.0 (Coyote) and previously they were 4.6L V8s which is probably what you ran.

when I complete all the required classes (one more to go ) all my charges will be dropped to just a speeding ticket and 3 points on my driving record but I have lost over $4000 in lawyer fee/court cost and loss time to go to court.

glad it took for 13 years to accomplish what bmw did with the e39 m5 and it still loses to an e39 m5 in a straight. German 5.0 vs American 5.0:
Sorry but 4 doors and 8 itbs sounds a lot more attracting than a 5.0 for half the price. |

Must have been a 4.6 and not a 5.0... My encounter with a 5.0 below...
At that time, my only mods were a tune + intake + charge pipe. Since then, put some downpipes. The 5.0 was stock and 6MT and both runs he ended up about a car length behind at the end of the run... These coyote engines are no joke, they would destroy a stock 335i.
