Wheels!
Question: what wheels are these that everyone seems to have on their E9X? They look almost like CSL reps and I'm wondering if they come in black. Deciding between these and the Verde Axis which I think actually fit the bolt pattern of the 3 Series since I saw Need4Speeds ad on here. Thanks!

CSL reps on space gray metallic. There's a brand sold by a banned forum sponsor that you'll have to figure out in your own, but it's a lightweight and strong wheel! I had the E46 version a while back.

VMR V710 are similar too. I sport them in the summer.

Thanks everyone, what do you guys think about the Verde Axis (only come in 20s unfortunately) for an LCI E92 M-Sport? I know they're only about $1000 but they are lighter than most stock wheels (26lbs I think) even though they are cast. Thoughts? I do like the CSL Reps and VMRs, but I'm thinking about these or potentially something from Incurve.

And as these cars get older, I feel like black starts to look cheaper and cheaper. Just an opinion. There are definitely some great looking cars with black wheels out there, but it seems harder to do than looking good with silver.

^Those look like it!! Man those are some sexy wheels. I guess I will kind of have to decide on the color when the time comes, this is all preemptive consideration. As for the Verde Axis, while I agree they look aggressive, they look very similar to HRE P101s which are kind of my dream wheel. How do you guys think the graphite of the Verde would look on a Lemans Blue E92 which is what I'm looking at buying?
This is kind of my dream E92 look at the moment (not my picture, had to crop it). I guess you guys are right about the silver finished wheels, I currently have some silver faced wheels on my E550 anyway : Last edited by Nati0n; 08-06-2014 at 02:12 PM.. |
