Off to evolve today!!! :0)

So after months of contemplating the day has finally arrived for a trip to evolve

Will write back once im back to work after and share my second experience

First was 335d m sport which achieved 341bhp and 500ft lbs of torque

Will be interesting to see the 330d figures.

Peace out for now

What age 330d - LCI or pre LCI ?

My 330d LCI made 305bhp at DMS and I believe Evolve will be the same ... was awesome - almost too much so for me !

Bluefin with Superchips takes the 325d from 197 to 256 but no one seems to talk about them, why is this?

So after driving in my normal style, got to evolve and saw my colleagues 335d e92 go on the rollers first, it produced a result of 296bhp stock and after the remap a healthy 345bhp with just over 520ft lbs of torque.

Next it was my turn, stock figure showed 249bhp and after remap 292.7bhp with just under 500ft lbs of torque

Great bunch of guys and nice e60 m5's occupying the territory.

Definitely a huge difference in the response and although it was more noticeable on the 335d which is whiplashing, the 330d has really transformed, its lighter at the throttle and mid range is blistering performance.

same driving style on way home with same speed restrictions and achieved 51mpg.

All in all,

Thank You Evolve!!

Sounds like a decent improvement! I got mine remapped by them but it's a lowly 320D, but even so the difference is impressive

^^^ I doubt he's done anything. My understanding is the figures given by BMW (231) for this car are often low with the car producing much higher BHP from standard and being in the 240's is not uncommon at all.
Although I could be talking out of my arse! 😁

That's a healthy figure for a pre lci. Mine was a touch lower at 237bhp, but evolve mapped it to 305bhp. Not sure how that happens

Hi guys,

its a pre lci automatic,

I have done nothing else to the car, it is just low miles at 69k and well maintained, they did say that normally bmw figures come up higher than stock, also you must factor in the correction factor of the rolling road, apparently no 2 runs on different days would show the same due to weather, tyres and other factors.

Most definitely feel the difference and the car is much easier and feels lighter to drive, funnily enough the diesel noise has gone a lot less lower too since the map on both cars.

I do have a black grill which might have added a few bhp LMAO

It was significantly less than that, they often have offers of 299 with rolling road mind you.

a must for all 330d owners especially auto

I'll keep an eye out then, my 325d would benefit from a few extra horses and it sounds these guys know their stuff....

...but is it worth forfeiting warranty for hmmmm
