What is love?
How do you know if someone is "the one"?
Recently I discovered (haven't met, just exchanged a few back and forths, and stalked her IG/FB tremendously) a Thai girl who is visiting Hong Kong. I have felt this way probably a only a few times in my life, never felt it with my 7yr (ex)gf, most recently with a chick I was infatuated with at the start of college - who turned out to be totally playing me (didn't like me but led me on a lot) Granted, I do not have a close relationship with my mother, so things tenderly I am clueless at, even my own feelings. What are your match stories? Is there "the one"? (I have not thought about sex at all.. and I find myself imagining a future etc. but all early stages since we have barely talked. I guess I am basing my opinion on her online stuff she posts.. sad) |

Ask Haddaway.
Seriously though, it does sound as if you tend to fall hard and fast. I would be very careful to develop such strong feelings so quickly. Infatuation is a tough start to a relationship and it always reminds me of those Tommy Lee/Pamela, Rodman/Electra, Angelina/Billy Bob type relationships. They never end well.

Damn, everyone beat me to it.
Anywho, love is a fallacy. Figment of the human mind. Just enhanced feeling of infatuation that later dies and fizzles into codependency. |

I actualy believe that, but I am curious could it be any different ... or is it just going to fizzle and die as you say? |

Love is simply a word. Because it is a word used to desribe an emotion or feeling, everyone interprets the word "love" differently. This word is used to describe a connection they feel towards something or someone.
Because the word love is used to decribe the connection, and interpreted differently by each individual, only the individual using the word love can know what it means. Basically, only YOU can know what the word love means, so either you know you love someone or something, or you don't.

Better to have love and lost, then to have never loved at all, I suppose. |

What is love, baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more. Unst unst unst unst. I think with the help of "A Night at the Roxbury" it increased awareness of said song. |
