American Horror Story: Freak Show
The next season of AHS starts on 10/08/14 and is entitled American Horror Story: Freak Show Last season, American Horror Story strayed into supernatural and campy horror with Coven, but the upcoming season, Freak Show, will be (mostly) grounded in the reality of 1950s Jupiter, Florida. Focusing on a “troupe of curiosities,” Freak Show will feature many historically well-known sideshow acts portrayed by new and returning stars: a two-headed woman (Sarah Paulson), a strong man (Michael Chiklis), a bearded lady (Kathy Bates), a fortune teller (Emma Roberts), and a man with lobster-like hands (Evan Peters) – among others. I'm not sure if it will ever develop into anything or if it is just a superficial part of the stories, but I noticed that they have flipped the timeline between modern & 1950s each season.
I was hooked on AHS from the first time I saw the original trailer. Haven't missed an episode and usually each new one starts a water cooler conversation the next few days at work.

I was reading that a particular Clown character yet to be seen in this season, is so terrifying that he makes "staff uneasy and some refuse to be within a certain distance once full makeup is on."
Hmmmmm...

My favorite was Kathy Bates. Her portrayal, her lines, and everything that happened to her.

Well... F/X has finally aired the premiere of it's highly anticipated "scary carnival" series last night. What did you guys think? It certainly has a great supporting cast and solid actors. Of particular note is the "Clown character" they've created. Several reports from staffers on the set said once the actor is in full makeup and costume that they literally can't be in close proximity of him because of the level of creepiness it has.

I'd say F/X has NAILED IT with this one! Quote:

I like it so far...definitely better than last season. The stories of each character this season keep me tuned in. That's pretty good since I have ADD when I watch TV. lol

I absolutely loved the first season. In fact, I watched it twice, and was thinking about watching it again. I fell out of it for a little bit, but just watched the 2nd season a few weeks ago over a few days. I was pretty disappointed. Season 2 was alright, but didn't live up to what Season 1 was. I will watch Season 3, and eventually watch the new Season, I just hope Season 3 is an improvement over Season 2.

*SPOILERS BELOW*
I'd like to discuss the weekly episodes at least a day or two after the new episodes air. We good with that? So who else was pissed when psycho-clown didn't whack the shir-for-brains man-child? Not only that... But this mofo is now the Clown's assistant! Poor Bleep...

The whole time the clown was standing by him i was hoping for him to take out that stupid man-child but no. All he got a bump on the head and now gets to assist.
The psycho clowns face reveal was so nasty though! |

As for the spoiler, I actually thought it was great!!! I love that the man-child is going to get some lessons from a true psycho. No more skinning the neighbors cats.
