Not bad. Not a love at first sight but I think I will warm up to it. The bonnet looks long enough to swallow a huge engine. I didn't catch a price in there. Think it will be over 45k with rx8 in the 30s? Still 4 years away though....

The Rx8 and Miata are some of the best handling production cars. Rx8 is more neutral and nimble than a M coupe.

2012 is too late. By then, a new GT-R and M3 would be out!

still looks like the kabura concept even if they're calling it nagare or w/e. IMO, it doesn't look as good to me as say the FD series rx7.

It's pretty hideous. But I wish more companies would unveil their cars 5-6 years in advance so I can plan car decisions in advance.

Looks cool! Obviously its just a concept picture, but if this car has the same low weight as the 7 and 8 AND is TT, it'll be really interesting. Bobbo's right, these cars are better handling.

For a car around ~30k, looks great, drives great, has space for people, and is a lot of fun to drive/track, there is a lot of competition but the RX8 has always been up there with them... What's with this car and japanese car hatred?

Maybe european car owners think their cars make their dicks bigger than everyone elses? You will rarely get an objective post about a non-BMW vehicle on this website. Probably the reason everyone hates BMW owners. A better than you attitude.

I really like the whole look and idea of the RX-9. If its F/I, then I'll consider it.

i've always loved the RX7 no matter which generation. When i saw the RX8, i was kinda ehhh but i really liked it after driving it once. Still not enough to convince me to be mazda fanboy and not a scooby fanboy, but it was a seriously great car. I wouldn't be able to blame anyone who picked the RX8 over the STi/Evo. I doubt the RX-9 will be F/I though... another renovated rotary engine would be great! I love the sound of those engines. Reliability would be another issue though ahah. i remember when mazda had to recall all RX8s for an engine problem before... it was a sad day

I like it. As a concept it does not look bad at all andmazda has been pretty bold with their designes lately to bring out something fairly aggressive. Whaile everybody is getting heavy and powerful, going light and powerful might just do the trick to keep the competition off.

I've always been a fan of the rotary engine. The fd rx-7 was so badass. The rx-8 wasn't fast but it corners like its on rails. I turbocharged my rx-8 when I had it, and it was quicker but not fast enough. But I do like how they squeeze that much hp out of a 1.3l engine. The only thing mazda needs to do is bring back the twins and I think this car will do very well.

I've always liked the latest generation of the RX-7. Mazda makes great cars!!! I rode in a Mazda 6 and the CX-7 and their suspensions felt great and they handled pretty well too. They're definitely more sporty than Honda, Toyota, and Nissan.
