For sale are Blizzak WS70 as a complete set (all four) same size (235/40R18) that I had installed on a BMW 335i (stock sport rims) in December 2013. These tires have been used for one season (less than 1000 miles) and are practically brand new. Bought from Discount Tire and paid over $1200 for everything.

With winter quickly approaching then you need these. I was truly impressed with the traction and stability, especially in a car with over 450hp. They felt much like having the AWD in my old SUV. I moved out of state to Arizona and did not need winter tires but they are still located in Westerville, OH.

Asking $680 for the set (OH pickup) or $780 shipped in the US.

When you say $1200 originally, is that for Just the tires? That seems a little steep, no?

Tires, new TPMS, certificates, mounting, etc. Installed at Discount Tire last Jan and then taken off in late March.

So then they come with the TPMS? Because otherwise your $1200 cost is .

Pretty sure I priced them at $680. Am I missing something?

I think it seems your asking price is high based on your purchase price being $1200 originally versus what the tires actually cost.

New WS80's are $800 from Tirerack.com. Discount is probably a little higher per tire from what I remember, but then you are buying TMPS if you need it, lifetime balancing, etc. plus your local sales tax. I chose to go this route (as do most people) as didn't want to mess with the other stuff. Therefore stating my price for snow tires mounted on stock rims gives someone an indication of what the real cost might be otherwise. It is all a matter of perspective.

Someone researching (like I did last year) might see this as a good bargain. I would have jumped at this when I was looking at costs and made it work. Therefore I guess I am looking for a buyer like myself. I am sure there are those out there. I am also open to reasonable offers.

So buying used tires at a 15% savings versus a new set is a good bargain in your point of view? Presuming that what you are selling is just the tires and not the TPMS that you also bought.

Just the tires as in the photos. The other TPMS are with my stock rims. Not trying to argue with you but yes, I would have purchased these being used for 2 months vs new if they had come up. In fact, I looked at buying some from a guy local with 2 seasons on his for the same amount but it represented a bargain to me at the time. They sold too fast. Case in point.

Again, the price is a matter of perspective. I have interested buyers right now so the point about the price and what represents a "bargain" is a matter of what the buyer is willing to pay. I am not trying to unload them for nothing. I am not in financial distress and I don't have to sell them right away. What I choose to list them for is my determination to what I perceive is fair market value. If you want them for less, go buy some with more miles and wear. I don't care to be lectured on tire depreciation, aftermarket value and such. I am looking for the buyer who recognizes this as a good value and fulfills a need with winter approaching. That's all there is to it my friend.

Hardly think I'm lecturing, but ok. You asked if you were missing something and I tried to supply some insight. Good luck with your sale.
