08 320d M Sport what bhp?

Hi guys

Just a quick brain pick, i have seen a well specced 320d m sport e92 on a 08/08 plate auto

Seller claims its 177bhp whereas ad on autotrader states 150bhp

Can anyone advise as i thought 150bhp was only prior to the e90

Also any feedback on them As daily drivers? I am thinking of trading my 330d e90 as dont need the extra doors or the 3.0d for my daily 6 mile horrendous commute

Regards

Don't think it will be 150. More likely 163. Go and get a drive in one. Not slating the 320 but the extra go from the 330 is nice and you may miss it.

It will be 177, same as mine.
As above take a test drive. It does have more than enough power for a daily drive but it does lack the refinement of the 6 cylinder.

It will defo be a 177bhp. If your doing 6 miles a day I would be looking at 325i/330i

6 miles each way, 15 mins to work and up to an hour on way home using any route from stratford to ilford

Thats what i was contemplating earlier regarding not needing a diesel and jumping back in to a petrol

Mpg wise i dont think it will make much of a difference though

I've had both the 177 and the 184 320d. I do 15-20k a year so it's a no brainier. I think the auto is better suited to this engine.

177bhp

08 is early N47 so could have problematic timing chain issues
