Tyre inflaters?
Since shedding my RFTs I have found myself checking the tyre pressures more often, a bit OCD actually. The tyre inflater that I use is OK but is about 20yrs old. The problem is the 40mm dia. pressure reads 0-300 psi. so it is awkward to get 34psi and 40psi. spot on. I normally over inflate, then bleed down using a handheld gauge which is becoming a right pain. I checked out digital inflaters on Amazon and discovered a pre-set type which switches itself off when reaching the required pressure. Sounds like a plan until I read the reviews. Digital unreliable. The Michelin one was just as bad. So keep it simple I thought and get an analogue one with bigger dial with maybe 0-60psi reading. This is where you guys come in. Any suggestions. Please

I got the Halfords digital one with auto cut off, about £35 I think.
Pretty accurate so far, always within less that 1psi when I've checked one a calibrated gauge. |

I usually check them once a month in a Sainsburys petrol station as they're free. Went to non run flats recently so I know what you mean about the OCD! Lol.
