FS: 2006 325i - Arktis metallic $21,000

I'm trying to reduce the amount of money I have tied up in cars so I'm putting my favorite daily driver up for sale.

The car has been flawless and I love it so much but I really need to consolidate my finances.

I get 30-32 mpg (documented) with mixed driving. I don't abuse it at all since I have the Elise for that.

I have EVERY record from day one for this car including the window sticker. I change the oil more often then the trip computer tells me too (it says I can go 22,500 miles between changes? )

Car is pretty much brand new with the full warranty and full service plan. It has 44,000 miles on it now so all the little bugs have been worked out I drive back and forth between Tucson and Phoenix a lot.

Car is 100% stock except for the wheels and the aftermarket HID kit (I will probably put the lights back to stock). It comes with a new set of sport wheels/tires (they have about 1000 miles on them) along with the factory 16" wheels with runflat tires.

I have the car on Craigslist for more money but I really prefer this one go to an enthusiast. It has manual seats/fake leather/6-speed so it's one of the most "pure" E90's available.

I'd like to get $21k OBO.

Car is located in Tucson, AZ. I'm willing to ship at buyer's expense.

^ stock wheels.

I'll be really sad to see this one go But I need cash...

People are telling me I'll be lucky to get $18k for it. If that's true I think I'll just keep it

Highest offer to date = $17,500.00

Lowest real offer = $13,500... got about 10 people offer me "$15k cash" for it.

Can anyone beat that? It makes me sad to see that E90's are worth so little now. Dealers are offering them at or under $20k in my area.

Blame the 328's...

Same thing happened when I was trying to sell my 330...the 335's bitch slapped the 330's resale value. GL.

WTF? There are many e46s that are selling for more than 17500. Put it up on ebay.

Gonna try Craigslist one more time @ $19,995 and then if no bites... I'll sell it to Carmax. I found my replacement vehicle and I want to follow that deal through.

I've seen E90's sell on eBay for around $17,500...

That is horrible...so much about the great resale value ...after 2.5 years, the price is cut in half...
That car should sell easily for $22k...

Look at this thread:

Is it really possible that the A4 is worth more than the e90???

Really?? Where?? With how many miles? Now I'm worried about my purchase of a 2006 325i with 18k miles mystic blue premium & heated seats for $23k. AH! Did I not do well? I thought I got a great price too.

How much did Carmax offer you, if I may ask? They're going for higher, I've been bidding on them.

just wait it out and youll get more, no sense in taking a loss on it.

Dealers in my area are still selling 06's for 28-32 depending on mileage and options.

b8b you got a decent price on yours. 325's go through auction between 19-22K depending on options and mileage so I wouldn't worry too much.

It's really tough because the auction market has been flooded with 325's this month, so prices have been coming down.

That being said, two MT 325's with over 45K miles sold for an average of $18K at auction last week, so you should be able to get a bit more. I would shoot for $18,750-19,000.

The car will sell much faster if it were auto. I just buy a 06 with 22k miles premium package, navigation, cold weather package, steptronic for $23500.

I just got my car appraised at Carmax for $23,000. The options I have are listed in my sig, and I have 26,100 miles on it.

I think I could get $26-27k private party, but I'm not sure. Either way, I have decided to keep my car and extend out my warranty.
