Lowering advice & general advice.
Hey everyone, finally decided I want to do some bits to the wagon..
Whilst still wanting to keep it looking as subtle as possible anyway been looking into springs & eibach as good as they are do not seem like they drop a whole lot of height so h&r are the way to go. When these are fitted how bad does the ride actually get? I.e bumps & general driving? A guy I know has said that the car needs to be weighted to be tracked is this true? Is there anything else I should be doing when lowering? Also looking to get abit of a roof wrap (thought my look cool) but my general question is would people see a purple roof as "chav" more of a deep purple not in your face hey! Any ideas are welcome & all comments taken with pinch of salt, love or hate Cheers guys Shaun |

Yeh dont waste your money on eibach pro's, firms the ride but minimal drop if you have an m sport.
Not sure about the roof wrap what colour is your car?

would not be a complete wrap more of a camp type so a few patches of a dark purple (if I can find the right colour) car is black so it is not a massive contrast in a sense.yeah I have an m sport, are H&R springs ok to live with everyday use?

I had h&rs
Over minor bumps the ride quality is only marginally stiffer. Over major bumps say a speed hump ud definitely feel the stiffness but its to be expected. I enjoyed having mine and the drop was perfect! Coincidentally my BC coils will be up for sale very soon if that interests you! Weighting can only be done with coils afaik but could be wrong bit for sure you dont need to get it weighted for track Have you got a pic of the colour yr thinking about or roof wrap? |

Do you think it was sat ok or would you say it was sat to low?? Any pictures at all? With regards to tracking are you trying to say it would not be possible to do?? I don't think your coils would fit an e91? If they would then I am interested price depending! Shaun |

Yeah looks good on the drive as the drive slopes down
On an even road (no pics unfortunately) the rear end sags too much for my liking |

Shaun check out my previous build thread. Shows close ups of the h&rs drop
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=878937 Think i misunderstood. When u said tracked i thought u meant track day but do u mean alignment? Either which way u dont need weighting so can go on track or get car aligned without corner weighting |

I found these ones: http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...?product=75206 But its only 40mm/20mm drop and the other ones they sell which are 60mm/40mm http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...?product=75456 it doesn't say if it fits the 335d. Any advice? Found these ones which say for '335d' http://www.venommotorsport.com/produ...ory=Suspension Do you know if these are the right drop to get mine looking the same as yours? |

Afaik they only do 2 drops...the lower drop is their race springs. The drop i had on the e93 was their normal springs.
Give that place a ring and have a chat. They were ok when i rang them at the time |
