Changing the color strip on the dash?
Has anyone swapped or changed the color strip that goes across the dashboard? I have the standard silver strip and was wondering how to change it to the red strip seen in M vehicles.

To wrap it yourself: Yes you can but if you want to keep the bit around the center air vents aluminum and then wrap the silver strip red, that would be pretty difficult as it's all the same piece (see here). You'd be better off buying some and replacing it like this guy did:

You can't actually just swap out the colored trim piece. You need to change the whole trim piece. Check the for sale section and maybe you can find a set.
