Awron DGA gauge...i want....anybody else?

has anybody else seen this? It looks pretty fucking awesome.
only downside is it costs $949

Friend bought it for M4.. yeah tis pricey but apparently once you get it, its like you never knew how you lived without it.

Yeah, pretty slick. Been bouncing back and forth between AWRON and iPad Mini retrofit with this scan tool

Its a nice toy, but I certainly wouldn't drop a grand on it. There are cheaper solutions that work the same way and are just as good.

I don't play the "You drive a BMW, so you pay more" game. Charge us what the product is worth. No bullshit premiums because its for a BMW.

yea....im thinking about getting it too lol. how accurate is the HP TP display? and things like the qtr mile and 0-60 time?

yea that does suck, but the only other thing ive seen is from p3 (i think that was the brand) but it just looked too basic for me. guess im too picky.

It works fine. I use a knockoff with ScanMaster on my laptop.

Yup....plus you can customize gauges AND watch any movies you may have for those extended drives!

sorry im being lazy lol but does it do 1/4 time? and well yea thats pretty legit haha. im too busy weaving in and out of traffic (without cutting anybody off that is lol)

Download DashCommand to your smart device then pair with Doggle. If I go that route, I'll use DashCommand

Believe not only can you track 1/4's, you can have it send logs as well.

It show the same HP TP like sport display, but with Awron you can see maximum numbers. This is great.
It can show time 0-100, 0-200, 80-120 km/h. It use gps for speed accuracy.
1/4 mile still not try.

I think you need to wait when BMW launch their own software. Look like it must be also good.

This looks pretty good, I thinking of getting this, so only $119??? plus $10 for the app.. looks like a good deal

You should all know there is a difference between the Awron and the P3 gauge + various mobile apps etc. The P3 and apps all hook up to the OBDII outlet and the data u get from there is´nt that accurate, the Awron on the other hand is hooked up through the CAN-bus. Thats why u can also use the steering wheel controls.

I´d want it, but it´s to pricey. The P3 is at a much better price point but then I can just buy Torque Pro with an ELM connector and use my phone, and get the same thing plus even more functions.

Great info! Id rather have more precise info if im going to be paying for it. Looks like ill be getting the Awron then.

OBD2 also gets its data from the CanBus, so its the same data either way. You're talking like a millisecond of time difference that it takes the data to get to the port before its outputted. Not enough to matter.
