What's the weirdest or random thing you've thought of or done while you're bored out of your mind, or to avoid an unpleasant/awkward situation and just want to tune it out?

Mine right now? Apparently there's some tenancy issue with my next-door neighbor, so the cops and the landlord are arguing / talking loudly outside my door since one dude refuses to leave and is standing inside the house. So, not exactly knowing what I want to listen to, I clicked around YouTube, and what have I found oddly catchy enough to retain my sanity? Not just chiptunes (I don't even listen to that at all), not just Arabic (keep in mind I'm White and Asian)... BOTH!

Alright, another one just to get things going (STABO Extraction sounds/looks cool, but nothing you do when just because you're bored unless that was done out of boredom... Also for making advances, but it's not initiated by you to alleviate boredom)... But if you're taking about pleading the 5th, I guess I need to make people more comfortable by sharing one more example.

...Sometimes when I'm stuck in traffic, I sing along to songs using a completely different genre's style or voice. I do "Korean FOB at the karaoke" a lot, but also operatic tenor to stuff like heavy metal, or Middle Eastern/East Indian to GNR, or death growling low-tempo R&B.

ADD... It's a curse, but has its blessings once in a while.

Haha sometimes I have fun singing radio songs - whatever genre like you said - as if it were Metallica. It doesn't have to be Metallica just a heavy metal / hard rock voice. There's nothing like "making my way downtown" lyrics with the devil horns up and the kiss tongue out at nearby drivers!

Karaoke, but I always pick songs that allow me to be animated and dancing around and stuff. Usually ones that let me sing in falsetto and are sorta funny anyway too.

I know, but funny thing is even though I'm Taiwanese and I'm fluent in speaking Mandarin, I can't do a good Chinese accent, plus Korean and Vietnamese inflections are a bit funnier... With Korean I do the whole "seyooOOOooh" and "nidaaAAAaaaa" ending.
