Wrapping a CF diffuser onto my F30
Hey guys,
I recently purchased a 2012 Melbourne Red Sportline F30 BMW 335i, and I'm in love with it! I was thinking about pizzazzing up the rear side (as it is not M-Sport). I recently saw a Melbourne Red F30 with a black rear spoiler and a diffuser wrapped on. I am thinking about doing the same thing, but how do you guys think it will look if I wrap it with a carbon fiber vinyl instead of black. I'd have a carbon fiber wrapped roof, CF spoiler, and carbon fiber wrapped difffuser. Thoughts? I attached the photo of the Melbourne Red F30 that gave me this inspiration. |

I think so, especially if you already have other parts (mirrors, roof, etc) wrapped. Do it and share some pics!

Just do gloss black, no CF.
It'll still look sexy as hell and when someone asks (and they will) you won't have to say, "No, it's not real CF." |

With that being said, would I make the diffuser wrap the same gloss black as the roof? I would also want to buy a rear lip spoiler so I am wondering which one would be the best option on my car.

thinking of wrapping my non-M sport "diffuser" in gloss black as pictured on the red F30 up top. Does anyone know if that black trim piece that is on the bumper is held in with clips or just adhesive? I want to know how difficult it will be to remove so that I can do the black vinyl and then reinstall it.

Has anyone followed up on this thread? Have been thinking about wrapping my rear diffuser on my non-M sport line F30 as well, and would love to see some pics! thanks!
