Yup I saw that and practically barfed. Doesn't look like mercedes is trying that hard with this, what with using an inferior platform and hand-me-down engines. Seriously, this thing is ass ugly. The whole point of a coupe is to look good...I'd much rather have the sedan: looks better and waaay more practical than this thing. It looks just like the old one...except updated...with new ugly ass and a practically unchanged (from the w204) front. Blech.

In fact, the ONLY thing I like about this car are the checkered instruments in the dash. Apart from that, they even use the OLD interior as a styling base. The sedan is far better, inside and out. Look at how bland it is on the inside!

yea i was just at the PA auto and boat show, they had 2 new Cs a lux and a sport, i cant say i was impressed at all, it looked great but i wasnt sure about the build quality or the materials, many things felt cheap and plasticky.

I dont think its all that bad. The front is pretty nice, back is an improvement. Interior is awfully bland though.

CLC350 if not overpriced might not be too bad of a car with 270hp.

I had a look at the new Audi A4, just incase I could be tempted away from a 330D Sport. It looked OK, but for a start the doors do not close so well as the beemers do and it seemed a bit plasticy.

Also looked at the Mercs, and they are just plain ugly. For the Merc here, I do not like the low down sat nav screen; the raised ones in the beemers are much better.

And finally neither of them do a manual 3L diesel, and they do not give 18" rims as standard, so thats another 2 reasons to keep with a beemer!

HAHAHA........wow, mercedes.....you really suck. You took the same shitty car and added your new, big, gaudy, flashy, plastic'y, big benz, chrome, C class front end, and just threw it on the old, ugly, cheesy, lame, C class coupe.

I like adjectives. I dont like Mercedes-Benz (well maybe......just maybe for the exception of a few new AMG models). I dont like the C class. I like Audi, Porshce, BMW, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Gumpert, Ariel, and thats about it........

I guess Mercedes and BMW are on the same page now, because we can dismiss both the C class coupe and the 1 series as the "What the f**k were they thinking (or not thinking)?!" cars, on the part of both companies. So now if someone rags about the 1 series, you can rag about the equally lame C class coupe. Or vis versa. See, everything works out in the end, doesnt it!
