ok i am placing my order on the 1st of feb what to make sure i got it all fig. out i have all the options i want the only thing i am not sure abot is the color what is the diffrence between Black Sapphire Metallic and Jet Black. here is what i am getting with the 325i:
6speed manual
Black w/Leatherette Upholstery with Aluminum Trim
Sport Package
Xenon Adaptive Headlights
after i get the car then i willl get the Carbon Fiber Front Lower Lip and
Rear Deck Spoiler with the 10% copuon i have for bmw. so my only problem now is the color
o and 5% tint all around and 30% on the windshield but that will be at least 2 hours after i pick the car up

Check the photo section. Go to a dealer that has both colors. The metallic will cost you $450, so you better appreciate it. Each to their own, but your choices look wonderful to me. I have to live where the sun is too hot for black in the summer. And I have 3 kids, so no time to clean my cars. Maybe consider heated seats, and check out the raging Comfort Access thread.

yea i have a 3 year old so cleaning is hard but is there a big diff in the color or fading after awhile

You are putting yourself at great risk of yelling at your kid everytime he gets anywhere near the car, because the scratches miraculously appear even when boys stay a meter or so away. Girls do not seem to have the same effect. No black exterior fades in a moderate clime like NJ that I am aware of. Jet black is just notoriously tough to keep maintained. But it is awesome when it is properly cared for.

I'm also from N.J. and my wife convinced me to get the heated seats ($500). They work fast, get nice and warm, and also heat the back of the seat. Well worth it in cold climates.

Black Saphire has a metalic sparkle to it, jet black is simply black.

BS is definitely easier to keep looking clean, and comfort access is da bomb :-)

how can you not get leather.. screw leatherette.....some cops are jerks.. i believe in that. best cop was the mafia cop from vegas.. retired nyc cop. never gave 1 ticket in 20 yrs of service

Err...OK.

As the owner of a black vehicle I would advise against it. You can't wash it when the sun is up, keeping it clean is a nightmare and every swirl or microscratch looks 10 times worse than a lighter colored car.

And I am anal about my car's finish. I use good microfibers and good products and it still looks horrible in bright sunlight.

Whatever you buy, enjoy it.

I never had a speeding ticket in my 30 years of driving until I got my E90. Had to take my medicine, because of course I was driving over the posted limit and hit a trap... but the shit I see people do every day during my long commute... and I get pulled? :mad: But you'll get a pass in your E90...
