Adding MPerformance to leased 335
I want to add a front lip and rear spoiler to my EBII 335 xDrive. The BMW "genius" at my dealer did some research and confirmed that I could add OEM/MPerf parts to my leased vehicle and would not be required to remove them at lease turn-in (not really concerned about the loss). Before I do the lip and spoiler, I called BMWFS as well - and they said "yes, OEM parts are OK" but I couldn't get them to provide it in writing. Really wanted something official for my records. Seems like the agent I spoke with just couldn't send any outbound email or fax. Does anyone else have experience with this? Just want to be sure and not get dinged on turn-in. Also, I'm leaning towards buying the car at turn-in and doing CPO on it.

yes, you CAN put OEM parts on a leased car and return it without a problem. its OEM so its ok.
HOWEVER, it would be SILLY for you to do that because you'll be losing 100% of the value. what you should do is remove them from the car before returning and selling them yourself. You're going to end up spending ~$700 of the mods.....and can probably recuperate at least 50% if you sold them, whereas the money just goes down the drain if you return the car with the parts on

I added a few parts to mine. It's your car for 3 years. Do what makes you happy. I spent $1,300 to add the ppk. Then I added the side skirts and painted my lip.
