Now i remember why people hate BMW drivers!!!! coz they're punks, or some of them are at least.

Today going to work i was tailgated by this douche bag in a 535i. I was going 5-10 mph over speed limit, and in the slowest lane, and he was still following my ass. then he decides to pass me, i look and he gives me a hater look!!!

now that im a 97 maxima driver i can see the douche-bag-ness of bmw drivers

btw, is douche bag one word, or 2 words??

I've dealt with a few myself.

The most recent was a lady in a 545/550. We were going up on overpass which narrows from two to one lane. She was in the lane that ended, and merged into my lane.

I was in front of her. As the lane ended she began to speed up to try and cut in front of me. I wasn't having it, so I stayed on the SUV's ass in front of me until she backed off. I just kept looking at her, like wtf are you thinking?

Did you forget: higher priced car = front of the line. Happens all the time when merging traffic. I like to get real close to them in my truck, see how well they think us commoners listen to the direcive to get out of their way. Same with the double-spot parkers.

even if you're not a prick inside a relatively nice car, you get the truck people all over you meaning to intimidate you. i don't like having rock-throwing trucks that close to my car, it gets chipped - keep your distance please. that's what i think, not "keep away, my car costs more than yours"; the problem is this is what they think we think.

lol, I merged on the highway going WOT one day, and all of a sudden ended up right next to a sapph black 335i that was weaving out of a pack of cars behind me going pretty fast. The guy didn't even look at me. I was trying to get some sort of reaction out of him. Speeding up and slowing down.

Turns out he was too cool for me, what with his hat on backwards and slouched so far in the seat I could barely see his head, and his right hand at the 10 position on the wheel. He just kinda sped off and I just kinda didn't care. Still...c'mon...it coulda been fun.

Also, old people in Bimmers that can't drive are really weird. They'll drive slow, see me coming up in the next lane going maybe 5-10mph faster than them, then they speed up and try to prevent me from getting in their lane. Ass...

Dude!!! Ironic you made this thread. Just a hour ago, coming back from dinner I drove my family in the TSX & some 7 series with rims & bright ass lights was tailing me for a good 2-3 minutes! I was like dude...wtf

I wasn't even in the fast lane, minding my own business going 70-75 in the second to right lane. I literally thought to myself, hmmm now that I'm not driving my BMW, I see why a lot of people hate us drivers...

Pretty much have to agree with you... I see more shitty attitudes and little bitch syndrome here than just about any other Automotive or Motorcycle forum I ever visit...

Hang out at cafe' somewhere with a lot of traffic, almost without fail you'll see the folks in the BMW's over compensating somehow, and looking like dipshits.

You see it with other import Marques as well but BMW seems to bring em' out in droves.

In fairness there are still some enthusiasts out there and folks who buy a BMW because of it's driving focus, durability, and safety. But just about every asshole you see driving a BMW like they are some how special has the same tiny dicked little over compensating scrub behind the wheel waiting to call his attorney or the Police cause he's one of the most spineless, poserific Douch-Bag's on the roads of America... He's clawed his way to middle or upper management and he wants EVERYONE around him to be somehow impressed...

Honestly, I almost skipped a BMW just because the roads are so full of this sort of Beemer weasel. Glad I didn't though, cause I love my ride, but it's hard to be a nice guy in a BMW, I do my best to be extra courteous on the roads to try and make up for the well earned beemerweasel reputation the cars have, but it's an uphill battle...

Coming home from work yesterday, I come up on a silver E46 325i with an older woman driving. I'm next to her for a second or two waiting for her to look over and give her a little wave (just trying to being nice). She has her eyes locked straight ahead. I had to be in her lane to turn in a mile or so, so I gave it some gas to merge ahead of her. She hits the throttle too and tried to keep me from getting over. I obviously got ahead; but it's just the fact that she tried to stop me... and I was just trying to be nice to a fellow Bimmer driver.

the other night driving home CLK AMG pulls up with some 18YO and tells me I should have got the turbo... I was like *sigh* what should I say that wouldn't make me sound like an ass... So my choices were:

A. You should have bought your own car and not taken out mommies.
B. You should have bought a BMW

Can you guess which I went with...yeah I elected option C and now I regret it. I should have said statement B. Oh wells...
