Auto-Body / Paint shops in DMV area

I've been told about D&V Autobody but they seem a bit pricey, almost 2x what other places charge.

Any other recommendations ? How much should I be paying to get a new E92 M3 bumper painted?

I'm doing:
-Driver fender
-Rear Bumper
-Front Bumper

Other things that need work:
-Curb rash
-Wheel refinishing
-Paint chips on hood & door handle

I went to m&m collision is fairfax to get my bumper painted. Lowest price I was able to get, they seem to have mixed reviews and def not as professional as the other places I have been to. The bumper however did come out pretty good so I can't complain. I wouldn't bother having them instal it though

Chantilly Autobody did a great job matching paint on my wife's VW. I've also had great work done at EuroPros in Gaithersburg. They seemed to be the preferred place to take a Porsche, and the work was definitely up to par. They were perfectionists, it took a while, but the results were fantastic. The local PDR guy works out of D&V if he needs to pull a panel off or something, I've been in the back of their shop and there's a lot of really high end cars. They must be the dealer preferred shop for the Ferrari/Maserati/Lambo complex in sterling.

hmmm i would rate it a 8/10. There was a couple of small runs but they were on the underpart of the bumper that you wont see or even notice. They also missed a small spot when polishing that i have to go back and hit. Again it's not really noticeable unless you are looking for it. I'm really nit picky so i tend to notice all these little things. The paint job itself after they wet sanded it was pretty good though. No runs (except for the couple i mentioned), and color matches the rest of the car perfectly.

What does runs mean? I'm gonna be in Alexandria tonight if you wanna meet up again. Maybe I'll get my car fixed up and go for the cheesestake run on Saturday.

just think of a rain drop running down the windshield, looks just like that except its paint. usually it is just wet sanded out but some times shops wont bother wetsanding out the runs that are in spots that wont be seen anyways. time vs cost thing.

I should be free tonight, if you still have my number just hit me up, if not then pm me and ill send it to you.

Color matching and quality of the paint is good? Can you easily tell by looking at the paint that it doesn't match the other panels?
