wind chill only matters if you shovel snow in the buff. Or drive with the top down.

man, I'm tired of all the whiny babies in Toronto that cry about it being COLD. For crying out loud, the city of Toronto had an 'extreme cold alert' today for a mere -15C. When I was studying in Saskatchewan, the temperature gets down to -40C; -60C with windchill. So cry me a river.

-15.5 is cold? Where I live, it can get -50 celcius without the windchill factor. When I was in high school, my gym teacher would make us run outside and play sports with shorts and t-shirts in -10/-20 celcius. At first, I thought it was insane, I thought I wouldn't even survive, but now, I'm a make stronger person, and I think I could probably survive in Antartica or the North Pole with just a big warm jacket.

-25 with the wind chill ain't cold. You have to train your body. Try running outside with some shorts and t-shirt at that temperature. Sounds and feels totally crazy, but do it for about 5-10 minutes at first. If you do it more often, nothing really feels cold.

Some of my friends went to HS in Limestone, Maine, where it apparently got down to 40 below with wind chill. Which must be insane to be in.
