Appearance package
I got suckered into purchasing the BMW appearance package for embarrased to say how much. Vehicle already had holograms before anything has been done to it and minor swirl marks from a poor buff job.
My plan is to polish the car then apply Black Light sealer. I will then take it to the dealer and have them apply the appearance package sealer as a second coat. My vehicle will come to them clean, I will point that out. If they screw it up I won't accept it. I have to have their product applied in order not to void the warranty. Is this the right approach? |

I would not apply the blacklight due to applying the appearance package, blacklight might prevent proper adhesion or longevity to the appearance package.ensure you provide them or you do it right in front of them a wipe down of Carpro Eraser to ensure a free oil surface. Any questions feel free to let me know or PM me.

I not too concerned with the second coat sticking. I just think the Blacklight may be a better product than the Perma Plate that the dealer supplys. I'm just letting them do it to protect the warranty which includes rock chips. I also have read that dealerships can do a crummy job when applying if they use a buffer. I'm experienced so I can deliver the car swirl free. Still think I should let them apply their product first? Thanks for the Carpro tip.
