I loved my '04 Sti...I miss it... it was one of the first ones to come over to the states in '04, didn't even come with a radio. For the price, nothing beats an STi in my mind.

For the money aspect, the Evo is the only car that compares. Back in '04 I paid 29k OTD for my STi. There was nothing that compared to it for that price. It was a street monster around my town back in the day. We're talking over a decade ago, many things have changed since then. Damn, now an STi is over 40k. Looking at it now especially, 29k was a bargain for what I got.

Is that wagon still AWD?
J/K. Thanks for bumping this post from an STi owner; 2005 bought new for ~$30K. >100K miles on it now and it has never failed to get me where I needed to go, including during blizzards and hurricanes. Mine has been reliable too although I understand the later engines are a bit fragile around the ringlands. |
