Lunar Eclipse 2/20/08
There will be a lunar eclipse tomorrow night(wed, feb 20), will be from 8:43pm EST to 10:51pm est. West coast, better luck next time haha.

I carried each of my kids outside, in their pajamas, at bedtime, for a quick look, and pointed it out (30 degrees outside). I remembered this thread when we started reading a kids' book about a moon of a distant planet. "Captain Raptor and the Space Pirates"
They weren't impressed with the eclipse. But I was - spooky orange color. I hadn't seen a lunar eclipse in about 12 years. Thanks for the heads up! And great pic, BTW! |
