IF you are for 95%+ sure you and/or your staffs are in the list, i would use up sick/personal days.

I use to use those sick/personal days when I need to do interviews.

Been there before...

-Polish up your résumé. Write a semi-generic cover letter than can be quickly edited to suit the specific job. Go out and spend like $10 on cotton-based stationary paper, to make it look like you give a shit.

-Email a copy to yourself. Then if yo come across someone, you can forward it to them on the spot...

-Start looking. Word of mouth, Craigslist, online sites, go door-to-door, whatever.

-If you're willing to move, you have even more options available.

-And don't be afraid to negotiate. Even if they won't budge on the starting pay, ask about vacation time upfront, raise schedule, etc...

-best of luck. What is your line of work?

Administrative work in the health field, nothing serious. It's just not a good fit for me, and word on street is I'll be seeing the door soon. :-/

The whole reason I was here was to use it to help pay for school, but oh wells. The drive sucks too.

Lol, kinda need money to travel that far. Oh well, party like I was there!

I took this job because it was closer to school, they pay was decent and the benefits started day one. Not worth it at all - work is boring, the environment is toxic and the drive (1 hour or so 4xish miles 1 way) are just killer. I had a backup option I guess I have to look into.
