Nickos's Bluewater E92 325d Build Thread - Updated 12/04/16

Right Chaps, thought it time I start one of these for motivation and inspiration as well as attention whoring

Bought the car Dec 31/14 and the first point of call was to ditch the accelera tyres in favour of Goodyear F1 Asymetrics. Recommended sizes as always.

Next up, it was time to work on the audio which let's face facts, if you like your tunes, is pretty pants so a trip to Mak was in order to fit the following:

DSP: Audison Bit Ten & DRC
Amplifier: 2 x Hertz HDP4
Speakers: Focal 100KRS X 2
Underseats: Earthquake SWS-8X
OEM BMW Cips
Knukonceptz Wiring, Fuses Etc
Gladen 4 Channel Harness

Full Build Thread Here:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1122549

Recent additions include smoked repeaters and Quantum44 S4 Wheels (fitted today) which I already love to bits (Thanks to James @ ********!!!).

Next up is a high kick spoiler to fit this week and then possibly carbon splitters, mirror covers and rear diffusser (plus exhaust). Black roof is also tempting

You can attach an image to the post. Scroll down were you type the post and look for 'attach files' and select 'manage attachments' You can then add files and upload. The only issue you might find is the file size/pixels. I use PhotoShop to resize files if they are too large.

Do you have any pics of the installation of your amps in the boot? The build thread you linked to shows the boot afterwards, but doesnt show how it all fits together or where you've put the parts.

Been trying to find a location for an amp in mine and sorta struggling, maybe my amps are just too bulky?

For your dropbox issue, you need to "share" the pic, and it will give you a URL. Once you've got that URL it will say ?dl=0 at the end, change that to ?raw=1 and then use that as the image link and it should work

I basically bought the cd changer boot trim and built a rack for them to go on. Rack is shown below but without the kit fitted. The amps have a small footprint so fit nicely.

There's also carbon splitter, diffuser and exhaust that i'll take some pics of as soon as i get the car back (which is currently having M3 skirts fitted).

M3 Side Skirts:

They are a couple of mm out across 25% of the door which doesn't bother me too much just yet but I can see myself drilling new mounting holes to align them better in the summer.

Try 3m double sided tape. It will save drilling the car. Only problem is you only get one chance to stick it down in the right place.
