Any idea what grilles these are?

So, I've had these sitting around for a while now.. Never really looked into them. They were given to me via a friend as he sold all of his BMW stuff and forgot about these Grilles. He gave me no info on them and has no idea either. I was kind of thinking they're for an LCI model?

They don't fit on my 09 pre-lci e92 335i bumper. But do all Pre-lci kidney grilles for the e9x series fit? Or could these be for an E90 335i?

I couldn't find an exact answer by searching. Unless I wasn't looking hard enough.

There should be a part number on them that you can google search.

to answer you question, no the lci grills do not fit pre lci cars.
and thats exactly what you have is an lci grill. if you compare the two, they are different...

Pre LCI

LCI

if you notice on the pre, the grill is in more of a D shape and there is actually 2 parts. a part for the grill and a lip for the hood. LCI does not have the hood part.

I thought the differences like that were on the e90 and e92, not the Pre-lci and Lci.

So do all e9x (pre lci) grilles fit each other?

Edit: I know the differences between Pre-LCI and LCI via the headlights and tails and oem front bumper etc.. but I own an 09 e92 335i and it's definitely the Pre-LCI, which leaves me confused since doing basic google searches, I come up with the confusing conclusion that E92 pre-lci and lci grilles are the same. As to what all the images show from 07-08 e92's and 09-11 e92's. Unless the LCI was done at a later time through 2009?

It seems that it is the Pre-LCI and LCI E90's grilles that have that "D" shape difference.

I'm sure googling the part # (if there is one) will solve this.

Searched the part numbers and it came up with E90 LCI FRONT GRILLE 2008-2011.

How odd.
