How would you spend $1000 on a 2007 335i (already JB+) installed.
I have a stock looking 2007 Monaco Blue E90 - N54 (335i), with only 39K miles on it.
I added new wheels (2009 coupe styling - 18's) I added the JB Plus quick install tune to give it about another 25HP. The cars power is enough for me. I am interested in spending 1K on mods.. mostly aesthetic. Currently, i am around 320HP (now with the Tune). Ideas: exhaust/tips/downpipes for sound/look and small added power? How should i spend it? |

Do you have sport package? If no, then my first suggestion would be sport seats followed by new shocks/struts/springs.
If yes, then my first suggestion is exhaust, followed by M-tech or M3 steering wheel

i believe the seats alone would set him back a good 800.00. Wheel plus air bag a lot more. I would think a downpipe would be better. |

If you could spend a bit more or perhaps find one pre-owned, I recommend the BMW Performance Exhaust.

Sure, that required some legwork on my own, but the deals are out there if you're patient and willing to hunt.

springs and shocks, or coilovers. getting rid of wheel gap is the single best thing you can do for aesthetics.

People are not reading OPs post, he said, his car's power is enough for him, so why would you suggest him Power mods???
OP, save it for repairs, if you cosmetics and if you don't sport pkg, then I would suggest get front splitters for front bumper, paddle shifters with sport wheel or better wheel. carbon fiber side mirror covers. |

over time, if your motor is not maintained you won't be at peak performance. your 320 figure would be if you are running perfect. so i would think you would want to get some of that back plus better reliability. with that said, i would spend my money on maintaining the motor.. - spark plugs - Valve cleaning (walnut cleaning) - RB PCV valve (its cheap) - Changing fluids (Oil) This is a good start and you will start to see your car come alive... things you would want to save up for.. - Injectors - WP\thermostat Last edited by Nguyenhu0106; 10-28-2015 at 11:14 AM.. |

Even though you have the JB+, and are comfortable with the power you have, a JB4 would be a good idea IMO. This way you'll have the ability to datalog and troubleshoot easier, and have room for expansion/support for future mods. Plus, there's constant improvements made through firmware updates to keep everything running safe.
Map 1 is a safe, fairly conservative tune, so you should be keen to that if you're used to the JB+. |
