Think I've found the best sounding 330D ever!

Just wish we could get our 335D's to sound as good!

Still not a match to a 335i on the sound front. Those numbers are crazy.

Youtube link says it:
- 76mm exhaust system from turbo (100mm titanium effect tailpipes and 335d optics )
- Stage 1 intercooler
- Pipercross Air Filter
- EGR off

+ huge remap

Hows does exhaust from turbo work? So you get the pipe straght from turbo without even the dpf unit being their and going down as a straight pipe from the turbo?

To be honest my doesnt sound like that, its a straight pipe from the dpf, my dpf is gutted out, so this exhaust is from the turbo not dpf?

Also what are these?

Stage 1 intercooler
- Pipercross Air Filter

Upgraded intercooler?

And what are pipercriss air filters? They any good?

Am gonna put up a video when i can get some time i work 6 days a week at the momment so no videos but soon as i do ill post you some.

Found another one, sounds amazing from 1.20 onwards but watch the whole video to gain an idea of the sound at lower revs.

Seems to be a proliferation of nice sounding 330D's - Can't our 335D's sound this good with the same work?

Done by a company called Carbon Motive

That 330d does sound really good. I wonder how much it cost in total to get to that stage

Garage List
Sounds very good indeed! just a shame it puts out the same amount of black smoke as a Vulcan bomber.

It will be moving too fast for the smoke to be registered by the eyes.

How is that relevant to the sound of a 330d?
I could say I think the B5 RS4 sounds best, but that's got nothing to do with it, nor has the sound of the n52

So how come you see the smoke on the Vulcan then? I think that goes a bit quicker than a 330d

Still pretty wank though compared to a petrol (i own a 330d so im by no means a petrol lover)

In my opinion a diesel should sound quiet. The roar of the 6cyl diesel is good enough as stock imo
