245/40/18 on rear MV3

hello, would a pair of 245/40/18 tyres fit ok on rear MV3 8.5" alloys. I'm looking for a set of winter tyres for my old MV3s & this size is more common on flea bay. Cheers, Neil

Should not be a problem at all, obviously a smaller tyre in width and profile but not by a huge amount.
