Got caught in a flood

Very narrow lane, cars and some cock in a truck behind unable to turn around so went for it. What was looking like 3" turned out to be 6" at most.

Only doing 4 MPH through it for 10 seconds.

Car lights flickered but came back on now it is stuttering with the EML lit up but that is the only light.

Drove 3 miles home with it being a tad reluctant but got there.

What am I looking at?

Let it dry out or insurance?

E92 58 plate.

6" of water doesnt sound like it would cause any bother, must have been more!
No idea, i'd remove air filter and check if its wet for a step to a hint....

6" wouldn't even reach the bottom of the door really, I'd leave it a few days and see what happens, should have been nothing really, maybe a wet sensor.

Thanks everyone,

I let her dry in the garage for 2 hours and went out and started the car and everything was fine, the EML was out and all 6 were firing.

Didn't even find any codes this morning.

Thanks again.

Evo it is a petrol.

Exhaust sensors

Exhaust sensors. My daughter's Audi TT used to do that whenever there was some deepish water.
