325d Remap, Midlands

Just wondering what recommendations people have as to a place to remap my 325d (204bhp) and what I can expect to gain without changing any parts. Does it improve economy too. I'm based in the Midlands.

Simon at emails offers quite a low bhp increase in the n57 204bhp 325d in my opinion.

I personally will be going to morebhp to get my car mapped. More bhp quote a 96bhp gain to 300bhp from a map on this engine (same engine as 330d, just different ecu map from the factory).

More bhp are based in Crewe, South Cheshire so not a million miles from you. The reviews I have seen about their work are all positive although I don't know anyone who has actually used them personally.

Ask Will Spooner at PTorque in Wolverhampton. Well know and respected in the BMW tuning circles.

Thanks for responses guys, it's something I want doing early next year but wanted to do some research first before getting any old tuner and map thrown on there.

Any updates? I've just picked up a N57 325d myself and looking to get some more power. I'm also based in Stoke/mids.

Not got round to this yet. Saving for a house and many other things to spend money on so a remap is down the list now unfortunately.

Had my 325d remapped by Ecotune about 6 week's ago and it's completely different now very quick and smooth. Ecotune are very good.

I am getting my 320D auto (177bhp) done soon. I've booked it with The BMW Independent Specialists in Hinckley who do custom live remaps and require the car all day.

I hope it's worth it.
