Angel Eye bulb

I bought new 7w 6000k AE bulbs but they are too dim. I am looking at 80w. But are 8w too bright and will the set off an error (or catch fire?).
They have a little transformer on them- obviously to stop the error code???
Any help and pics of 80w AEs?

Can you link the 80w ones? But in regards to them catching fire, they won't and for errors, as long as the bulbs mention they work for BMW e9x cars then you should get no errors. I have 160 watt HPB bulbs that I got for 99 dollars and they look good. Even at 160 watt though, they will still look dim in sunlight and of course the outside ring will always be dim because of the way they are made.
