Brighter angel eyes

Hey Folks, I'm looking to get a brighter white light from my angel eyes. Is there a brighter white halogen bulb that I can get, or do I have to go with the LED. Also I have seen some videos of people having to open the wheel well to do a swap, and I've seen others where they do it on the headlamp housing. Which way would I habe to do it? I drive an 08 e92 335xi with xenon. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

This works great: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00

Inexpensive, and the color temperature is much whiter. It'll take you 15 minutes to change both (maybe 30 minutes if it's your first time)

IIRC, the E92 (at least my '10 model) can be changed without much effort with zero need to go thru the wheel well. Instructions:

Sounds good thanks. I've seen a PIAA extreme white h8, anyone have any experience with those?

I bought a pair of Lux H8 160s. Pretty damn bright. The only real difference from LCI AEs is the outer ring doesn't refract the light as much from certain angles. (whereas the LCI AEs are equal brightness from all angles) But facing the front end directly, they're extremely bright. You need MY 03/2007 + though, I believe. I have pictures I was planning to upload soon

Lux is the only way to go. All other lights will look dim in comparison.

LED light emitting element (the yellow squares) in so-called H7 replacements is often very poorly aligned with the optical guides of the standard AE rings. Here is illustrated a superimposed H7 LED vs. standard H7 halogen whose light emitting filament is in a totally different location than the LED emitters!

I recently upgraded mine with the LUX LED's and I am VERY happy. I'm really glad I didn't go with some cheap fleaBay bulbs.

The LUX units are very nice quality bulbs and from all I have read and seen from others, they will last.

No codes, simple installation.
