I stepped on it, and...

..that exhaust note was one of the most amazing sounds I've ever heard. 06 330i, doing 70+ on the highway, I smashed the gas. I know, I know, probably should have experienced this a long time ago given I've had the car for 5 months. But wow, didn't know all that composure could come alive!

Carry on. LOL

Hate to be the one but the NA 6cyl sound to me is much better than that of the turbo 6. Don't get me wrong, the turbo 6 does have a very aggressive growl but the NA 6 just sounds amazing.

I have both, and have heard both with the performance exhaust so I know how they sound.

5/7 perfect score. But seriously smash the gas from a dead stop. You'll enjoy it.

Come-on, can't a guy enjoy his new to him used car. IN 10 more years post like this will be cherished since most BMW's will be uninspiring 4 cylinder turbos or hybrids.

How many more years before even the 340i becomes a 4 cylinder?... and only the larger M6 gets the I6. Probably not too long. Hopefully, they just drop the displacement a little first and do some weight reduction.

I love turbos

But yeah hope they aren't all didy quiet boring engines.

The musical note of electrics isn't inspiring.

Hey, with my wimpy 325i I get to hear that wonderful song for a lot longer, since it takes all afternoon to go from 60-80mph.

With the 335i, it would be over so quick.... or at least that's what she said.

Upgrade your car man. My 325i is faster then my brothers 330i. Same outcome even when we switch cars.

I own a 325xi and I must say the sound of it doesn't quite get to me... even the ones i have heard with exhaust systems... may just be my opinion. M3's do sound amazing.
