Dropped a screw

Hi,
I was installing the TMAP sensor on my aftermarket charge pipe when I dropped one of the screws which quickly disappeared, never to be seen again.

The screw just wouldn't hold and after about the 10th attempt it finally slipped from my fingers.

I was wondering if anyone knows the size and type of screw I need?

My charge pipe is from Burger tuning but it looks like cp-e use the same screws.

I'm in England and my local halfords didn't seem to have any screws like the one I've lost. My local wickes doesn't have this design of screw either. The thread pattern is different to the threads on stock MAP sensors screws.

This is a picture

Right now my TMAP is held in place by 1 screw and the tight gaskets it has on it. I want to replace the second screw as soon as I can.

I emailed cp-e, twice and got no reply.

Thanks

Have you considered emailing Terry at BMS?

I did. He wasn't 100% sure. I went to my local store and couldn't find anything in the size here. So I may have to order online. I want to get it right. Someone must know.

Could it be something like this?

http://www.shop-apt.co.uk/clamp-leve...4mm-allen.html

Here is a Google search that has some that look like the image you posted

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=4m...ZJ9P4iOu9bM%3A

Here is a thread that suggests its a..... "Install using supplied 4mm allen screws."

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66252

hope this helps

Don't know the size.

But I do know the type, its a Socket Head Cap Screw (SHCS). Even though it has a "Screw" in the name, its considered a bolt.

They come in standard and metric sizes and varying thread pitch's so there is several options to choose from. Your hardware store should have several nuts available so you can try to thread them onto the bolt so you can find the size and thread pitch.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...0#post19256950

You should be able to find your screw now!
