running cables from engine bay to cabin ?
Hey all,
I have a water meth kit coming for my 335d e91 , and I need to get the water hose and boost hose from the engine bay into the cabin , anyone got any ideas where I would be able to route the hose's through the fire wall? Preferably on the passenger side. |

Whenever I've needed to do it on cars in the past I always find the easiest way is to remove the glovebox and have a hunt for an existing rubber grommet etc

There is also a rubber grommit above the accelerator pedal through the bulk head...it's easy to pick up in the engine bay...I ran the meth via this route

yeh passenger side is where im thinking , its ether there or I was thinking about running the line next to the brake lines but that's a muck about getting the undertrays off lol il have a look for this grommet under the passenger carpet , I don't suppose you have a photo of its location (don't have to be with the carpet lifted just roughly where it is would be ideal)
what nozzle size did you fit ? im thinking the 1000cc and have it starting about 14psi do you have any dyno read outs of before and after? im on the dyno on the 25th so excited to see what it makes |
