M Performance Rocker Panel Decals
Hey everybody...looking for thoughts and opinions here. I have a new 340i on order as shown below...expecting it to hit the POI later this month. I've been debating whether to add the M Performance Rocker Panel Decals to my build, but I can't decide whether they cheapen the look. I really like the aggressive feel they add and I think the black decal on the rocker panel really accents the M Sport aerodynamics, but does the decal make the car look a little bit more like a tuner than a high-performance luxury sedan? Not making a judgment call here...just asking for everyone's opinion. I did manage to find a picture of a similar 340i with the decal installed...see below. THANKS!

I tossed around this same idea and ordered mine from the dealer last month. I saved money by arranging a local guy to install them for 50 bucks, its a bonus since I have after market gloss black wheels that add to the contrast . If you have a straight eye and steady hand ( count me out) you can install them in your driveway. lol some may criticize you because its Not a real ///M- Performance car- M-3....I say "what ever" . our taste in cars is like our taste in women ...some like`em fat some skinny ect.ect. You do what ever you want to your car. |

I have a pair that came with my side skirt extension/blades. They don't have the M Perf lettering. Debating whether I want to put them on or not. My car is BSM so the contrast is subtle. I go back and forth between "they are tacky" to "they add highlight the M Perf side skirts".
I haven't installed the blades yet, but I believe I need to decide on the decals before mounting them. |

I love the decals however only in conjunction with the front lip in black. IMO looks aggressive but keeping that BMW class. At the end of the day BMW designed it

I think they look nice. As a reference, here is my car without it, and a similar car with it. I am getting mine done!

I like the look. More pronounced on a lighter color but still looks good on darker.

Anyone have pics of them on BSM? I might have seen some way back. I have the front lip, kidneys and rear diffuser in matte black. Still debating if I'm going to put these on.
