The 17s look great and fill the gap fine. The obvious reason to go 17 though is tire cost. Tires are 20% cheaper and wheels are lighter too!

I'm tracking with pretty much the same setup except 17x9.5 et 35... too bad you didn't post these up a couple of months ago..

I originally ordered the 9.5 but with the XI and my coils the clearance on my AST's was just too tight. No problem with grip!
