Ebay side skirt addons

Has anyone purchased a set of side skirt addons off ebay yet? If so, how was the fitment, quality and what was involved to install? They look promising

Yep - I've bought both the matte & CF ones. I think same seller too. Both had perfect fitment. Just note they are fiberglass underneath the matte finish (not polypropylene). Still had no problem drilling/installing. Drilled 7 holes through the extension, then just used some jacks & double sided tape to attach and line up. Then used self tapping screws through the pre-drilled holes.

Does installing then require jacking the car up?

I've had no issues with the fiberglass or fitment on both. Just a note in the 2nd picture, it's not wavy at all - just the CF weave with certain lighting makes it appear that way.

It's easier to jack up the car and give yourself room to screw in the self-tapping screws. Alternatively you could use some ramps.

I ended up buying a set locally from a for sale post on here. They look exactly like the ones in the OP, and I have held them up to the car in the dark, and I'm not sure how, or if, they will fit. Not sure which was is front, and it's not obvious that they fit any which way.

I'm going to take an actual crack at it on Thursday, so we'll see

take a look at the attachment. its the OEM install instructions for the aero kit and includes the side skirt extensions. that shows how they should go on.

done

Despite loving the CF mirror caps, I have mixed feelings on CF on blue, so these might be for sale in a month or so if my mind gets changed.

excuse the filthy car please.

I found that the "notch" on the front (in the OP, the bottom extension, far left) doesn't really go anywhere specific. I could be wrong and installed them like a moron, but as they sit at the front of the car, I didn't see any place obvious for it to fit into.
