I just recently acquired an ah3 m sport and I have come to realize these are a dime a dozen and after searching I have not seen a ah3 with a catless downpipe. Does anyone know if this can be accomplished with a jb4 to clear out the code.

Check this thread he's installed Stage 2 and normally that comes with a downpipe;
That being said, i don't think there's any difference between the AH3 and the 335i there, but perhaps just check realoem.com

is the downpipe part number for the AH3 different than the regular version? If not same downpipes will fit

The front pipe and downpipe fittings are the same part numbers so I am assuming it will fit. I will be ordering a vsrf downpipe and a jb4 soon. Will report back once installed, thanks for the info Lancelot

Indeed, even if the part is different what's before and after fits 335i as well as AH3 (e.g. my akrpovic exhaust is for both 335i and AH3)

I'm still curious as to why the AH3 would have a different downpipe, that is actually quite surprising since the engine is the same as the 335 - anyone has a clue?

A dime a dozen? Where are you looking? I've been trying to find a fully loaded 2015 MSport and only found 2 minimal equipped non MSport 2015 Nationwide.

I live in Belgium and there are only 8 to 10 AH3's driving around here.
When I called a dealer some weeks ago he told me he never heard of that car.

I think it would be very interesting to make a hidden AH3 facebook group to share ideas, problems, ...

Different part number for the downpipe (Ah3 vs 335i 435i)

I think a more strong downpipe because the car start-stop the thermal engine frequently
(and the dP work correctly when hot)

Any updates on the VRSF downpipes? I am keen to get a catted version DP. Wondering if the AH3 would be compatible with the VRSF without any CEL, etc.
