It reads kind of like a Pontiac G8 redux. In comparison to the Dodge Charger R/T and R/T Scat Pack, it falls somewhere in the middle, but with much more conservative lines. It is unfortunate that GM only sold about 2700 of them last year.
On one hand, for $50k, it's a lot of car. However you can have an RT Charger for almost $10k less. Same price for the much more powerful Scat Pack. The biggest downer is that it's not using the new LT-series engines. This vehicle would probably be more competitive if it were priced and built to go head/head with the Charger. |

Pretty impressive, bests a 15 year old M5 by 1.5 seconds......might be fun if you're on a budget and the wife says go get a sensible grocery getter.....

Won't catch me dead in a jacked up Malibu. Hate that car with the intensity of 10000 suns.
Though I will say it shouldn't be compared to the Charger. Can't think of any hotted up Chevrolets that drive as horribly as what Dodge puts out.

These can be had for $8-10k below MSRP. For <$40k, it becomes the best bang for your buck. Each review I've watched said the same thing: Fantastic car, bland styling. If I didn't live in an area with regular snowfall I would strongly consider it, especially with the manual transmission.
You can shit on these all you want but this is a car that will hold its value quite well in the future (think M Coupe, G8 GXP - both of which sold like shit out of the box).

If you can forgo the bland looks (I can), then it's a pretty good car to have. Comes stock fully loaded, so it's not too absurd to ask what they ask.

manual ls engine rwd sedan. I could have some fun with that.
those LS engines are so easy and cheap to build up too. Just wish it didnt look so boring, but that would be half the fun; smoking people in a boring sedan. |

Sorry, 30 seconds into the vid, Barnum (aka Cammisa) appears. I stopped watching. Didn't want to risk seeing Bailey (aka Lieberman) further in.

Nah, before my 235i, one of the cars I SERIOUSLY considered was the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack. I was literally 1 call away from finalizing the deal before BMW agreed to an $8k discount on a leftover 2014 235i. |

Yeah almost bought one for 10K under and then the manual allotment ran long.
It's funny watching how everybody trash this car but I bet not a single person that said a negative thing about it has actually driven one. |

To be fair, most of the criticism is over the appearance which doesn't take a test-drive to opine on.

I tried to, but I go through a full body dry heave every time I get close to the door.
