New Springfield 1911 GI .45
Well I just bought it today at the Scottsdale Gun Club. $449.99
I believe it's a great gun! Fired 25 rounds out of it, beautiful. I was also looking in the parking lot. I thought this was funny... There are 7 series Mercedes sedans our 3 series and a few other beemers. But back to the gun... Wonderful. GET ONE OR A FEW Last edited by andyffer; 03-19-2008 at 10:56 PM.. Reason: I figured out how to get pictures |

Any recs for a 1st gun? I'm debating either 9mm or .45, though I've never fired a .45, I want one because I feel I'll be able to handle a 9mm better. I don't want a glock and I'm leaning more on a sig or usp for 9mm though glock is universal....and for a .45 I want nothing but a 1911...opinions?

The XD is a great gun. I have a H&K .40 USP and absolutely love it. I find it to be much smoother then the Springfields.
Try and fire a few and see what matches what you are looking for in a gun.
