Question Does anyone have a working link for Rheingold?

A very kind soul sent me a link last year. However, my laptop died and having been given a replacement by work I am looking to install this again.

Thanking you in advance

If you can wait a couple of weeks I can send you my copy. I got it off an eBay seller along with an updated cable and full installation instructions on a USB stick. I can bung it on my Google drive and send you a link. I'm away with work at the mo.

You can always use me as a standby if u don't get a link.

Have a look through some of my previous posts. There's instructions in there.

Shame this thread started and finished so soon. I'm about to start the quest for Rheingold myself...

I have various versions of Rheingold (ISTA-D) / ISTA-P. What exactly are you looking for?

I've got the CARLY app, but want something more detailed to be able to do things in the future. I'm getting a laptop soon, so a copy of BMW's diagnostic tools would be good.

Happy to share Andy unless Mr djgandy sorts you all out first. I've yet to try ISTA P just use ISTA D.

Think more than anything, it would be for diagnostics. Would you use D for things like gearbox adaptations reset?

Yes Andy. From what I've read you really need to know what youre doing with P as the possibility of bricking a module is very real.

Aren't you local to me Andy? Or am I thinking of someone else? If you're in the NW I'm more than happy to help you set it up etc

I need both. P is the priority though. I want to code to HI-FI and cannot do this with NCS Expert. I have an ICOM cable to hand in case it is required. I really want to try this to learn and if I can't do it then I will make an appointment with old grey steve.
