Xenon to LED OEM Headlight Upgrade

Apologies if this is answered somewhere else in this forum, but I want to upgrade the adaptive bi-Xenon headlights on my US 2014 F30 to the equivalent 2016 F30 LED headlights. I would like to use the OEM parts and do the install myself. Can anyone tell me:
  • Does installation require anything more that swapping the headlight units themselves (e.g. coding, wiring)?
  • Are the correct part numbers 63117419621 (L) and 63117419622 (R)? Any other parts needed for swap?
  • Has anyone done this successfully?

Really appreciate anyone who can answer definitively on these questions.

You will need new harness and coding. It's definitely not plug and play. And OEM led cost a ton. Its not worth it at all from bi xenon IMO. But if you like it. Go for it. Some guys here make the harness and can code for you with a charge.

That's the plan.

I'm still uncertain about the need to change the wiring harness to accommodate LED headlights. I've seen aftermarket LEDs for the F30 that claim to be plub-and-play.

I'd really like to hear from someone who has already done the swap.
