AUC Warranty Question
Just wondering if anyone has made a warranty claim but then been able to upgrade the part/pay the difference.
My 330i needs a whole new backbox and BMW are replacing it next week, Ideally i would like to pay the difference and put the Performance Exhaust on. Is this a none starter? |

You can only ask I guess they will as its extra money in their pockets. The warranty going forward might not stretch further than the 2yr part one for the performance back box only and doubtful you could take out cover for it being an upgrade if you decide to take the extended BMW warranty after your AUC one runs out.

Don't think they'll do it tbh.
The warranty item is sent from BMW GB / GMBH etc and isn't paid for by the dealer as the cost of taken straight from mondial etc. And as its warranty replacement they have to replace the part which is sent back to BMW with a direct replacement.
