New x1 x20d
Picked up my first BMW today ,the x1.(UK south Wales)
Well pleased after 100 miles on the clock. Traded in a Mazda cx5 ,was looking for something a tad smaller and the x1 fitted the bill. Jet black option, already have dodo juice purple haze pro in readiness for the weekend Looking to have a tow hitch fitted in a couple of months, any one had a Witter fitted? Decided against factory option as it only came with a seven pin option. |

Enjoy polishing your new car. I've had a couple of black/darker coloured cars and eventually got fed up polishing out the smallest swirls, it was fine when I was younger and more mobile but not any more. One of the reasons I went for Alpine White, now I can give it a blast with a foam lance, jet it clean and it still looks good without too much work.

Well it has not stopped raining in S Wales for the last 2 days,no chance to wash and wax.
A few more miles on the clock. Not really aware of any road noise through the tyres. Seats seem fine, though are a little small. Drives like a dream. I will eventually find how to open the tail gate with the kick action :-) |

Interesting that you find the X1 smaller than Cx5. Or maybe it is the other way around, because most of people think Cx5 is larger, but I can't see it. For me the CX5 is laughably small inside, especially the legroom in the back.
