Does basic Nav come with remote services?

Hi. Coming from a F31 335D with pronav, I've been spoilt with all the 'extras free'. Does the standard 2017 nav come with remote services for sending google locations to the car, lock/unlock, flash lights & find the car etc?

Will find out myself but car not due till end September so would be nice to know if someone can confirm?

thanks, Simon

I won't have my X1 until September, and it will have Navigation Plus.

However, according to the X1 UK price list, option 6AP "Remote Services" is
"Only with and included in ZNQ" (ZNQ is Navigation Plus)

So I assume the standard Nav doesn't have it.

I've got the standard Nav package on my UK X1 and the included "ConnectedDrive" service does allow you to send a Google Maps location to the car. The other bits you mention like remote locking etc. might well be in Remote Services though, which I don't have. Finding the Google "Send to Car" feature was a bonus though

Cheers Clive. That's what I have deduced & that's the feature I used all the times. Not over bothered about the other functions so will be happy with it as it comes based on what you are also saying

You're welcome. There are a couple of steps involved with setting it up; activating it in the BMW "Cockpit" on their ConnectedDrive portal and then entering your ConnectedDrive login in the iDrive. Give us a shout come September if you get stuck

I've got standard nav with connected drive and I can use remote services, like sending locations to sat nav from my phone and locking, unlocking. I had to go online and buy a subscription to activate this.

Clive. Cheers, will do. Colin, yup, saw that but only ever really used the send to car from google maps, not too fussed for the other options.

In the US, I have the Navigation Business (option). On the ConnectedDrive App for iPhone I can unlock car, flash lights, beep horn, activate climate system and send navigation locations to the car.

In the car, I have access to BMW Online, ConnectedDrive Apps (Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music, Send Google Maps to Car). My car seems to be enrolled in everything except concierge and internet. Once again, this appears to be all included with Navigation Business.

I was curious as well, there is a separate connective drive professional package available in Canada for $500 that lists:
ARTTI, Internet, Apps, Remote Services, Concierge

I have Navigation Plus 06UP, some of the menu items are in there (internet browser for example), they just don't do anything. Seems like it would all be software/service related vs any kind of hardware requirement. Dealership seemed to think it had to be ordered from the factory with this connected package, but weren't sure.
