Heat Shield wrapping downpipe?
would heatshield wrapping my catless downpipe be beneficial in keeping underhood temps down?

It would help but I prefer a ceramic coated option personally. For example, the VRSF downpipe comes standard with that option. It looks like you already have a Wagner. You could consider wrapping it and see if it helps but if it were my downpipe, I'd want to do it right with ceramic. I know it definitely helped on the N54 platform for my personal vehicle.

For daily driving it will not make any difference .. On the track it might, but i have never seen a direct comparison to tell you whether it is worth it or not
